Working Mother magazine just named Chrysler Group LLC one of the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers.” This is the 12th time Chrysler has made the list, and the second time the company has been the only auto maker listed.
“Being recognized by Working Mother as one of the ‘100 Best’ is truly an honor and validates Chrysler Group’s commitment to work-life effectiveness,” said Nancy Rae, Executive Vice President – Human Resources, Chrysler Group LLC. “We take great pride in providing programs and resources that help our employees balance the demands of work and family. Together with the UAW, we have consistently provided progressive work-life programs, understanding that employees will be more productive and engaged when they have peace of mind at home.”
In particular, Working Mother noted the company’s efforts to provide programs for a variety of family needs. Such programs include child-care, eldercare referral programs and its National Child Care Network. Chrysler Group also offers a variety of flexible work options from flex time to job-sharing.
“Women are an important part of Chrysler Group’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, and we are privileged to be able to continue the legacy,” Rae added. “While we still face many challenges, Chrysler Group’s commitment to diversity and inclusion will continue to be a source of resilience and competitive advantage for our company.”
